Privacy Policy

This is a static marketing site. It has no sign-up forms and collects nothing about you as you browse. The only time we handle your information is when you choose to email us.

What we collect

Nothing is gathered automatically while you read the site. The buttons here, "Join the waitlist" and the contact links, open your own email app with a message addressed to us. If you send that email, we receive your email address and whatever you write in it. There's no form and no database on this site collecting your details in the background.

Why we use it

We read your message and reply, and if you asked to be kept in the loop, we contact you about SimpleTelematics early access. That's it. We don't use your address for unrelated marketing, and we don't sell it or share it for advertising.

Where it lives

Your email sits in our inbox, handled by our email provider like any other message you'd send a small business. The site itself stores nothing about you.

The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, it may keep standard server logs, which can include IP addresses.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party tracking. There's no advertising pixel and no cross-site profiling. Even the fonts are served from our own domain, so opening a page doesn't quietly call out to a font provider.

How long we keep it

We hold on to your email for as long as we're helping you or you want to hear about early access, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Server logs kept by our host are retained on their schedule, not ours.

Your choices

Email hello@simpletelematics.com at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also just reply to any email we send and ask us to stop. We'll take care of it promptly.

Children

SimpleTelematics is a tool for businesses. The site isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

As the product grows past a marketing site, what we collect will change, and this policy will change with it. When it does, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of the page.
